Pok Fu Lam to Mid-levels around the Peak

Appreciation: 5/10. An easy hike that is short and shaded. There's quite a few streams so it would probably be better be done in the summer to get better water flow.

Why it's worth it:

Duration:
3.34k
226m elevation gain
Total: 1:15 hour

Garmin GPS route: http://connect.garmin.com/player/271244983

Difficulty:
4/10.

Cel phone coverage: Coverage everywhere.

Water needs: 0.5 liter.

Transportation: Any bus that will drop you off at Pok Fu Lam Reservoir Road stop (4 and 4x among others). Return with GMB 3 or bus 13 right at the end of the trail, on Kotewall road.

--------------------
The Pok Fu Lam Reservoir Road bus stop where you should get off the bus.
At the Pok Fu Lam Reservoir Road bus stop, just take Pok Fu Lam Reservoir Road  which is within 10 meters of the stop.

At the barrier, don't follow the road which goes around the reservoir. Instead, climb the stairs on the left. That's about the most strenuous this trail will get. Pretty much flat afterwards.
Shortly after the steps, you will reach a crossroad where the path you were on merges with the Hong Kong trail. Head left.

If you follow the Garmin map, you should have no trouble. At this spot, head left rather than following the steps towards The Peak.

You'll eventually get to Hatton road, which you will follow down  until it reaches Kotewall, the end of the trail. There will be bus stops right there at the junction of Hatton and Kotewall.
